# APS Truck Livery: Production Files

Print-ready artwork for the Isuzu FSR 120-240 curtainsider (Big Rigs body), one file per approved concept. Prepared by Entangle.

## What these files are

- Vector PDF-compatible `.ai` files. Adobe Illustrator opens them natively; any PDF viewer can preview them.
- 4 artboards (pages) per file, drawn at 1:10 scale of the real panels.
- All text is outlined to paths. No live fonts are embedded or referenced, so no printer font substitution is possible. Verified programmatically: zero font resources, zero text-show operators in the page content streams.
- 50 mm bleed and the 350 mm bottom buckle keep-away on the side curtains are already respected inside the artboards.

## Files

| File | Concept |
|---|---|
| `APS-truck-livery-d-client-direction.ai` | **D: Client Direction — LEAD FILE.** The client's own layout executed cleanly: logo + tagline at the cab end, their three USPs, full-length navy contact band, ocean spa photo filling the tail, red price tag, QR cards on all panels. Copy is the client's, verbatim. This is the file the client directed and the one to take to print once the open items below are confirmed. |
| `APS-truck-livery-a-navy-flagship.ai` | A: The Navy Flagship. Navy field, type and waterline graphic only. |
| `APS-truck-livery-b-water-window.ai` | B: The Water Window. White curtain, one message, one price, full-height water photo window at the tail. |
| `APS-truck-livery-c-the-swirl.ai` | C: The Swirl. Brand mark at highway scale on a navy field, bleeding off the curtain edge. |

## Page map (identical across all four files)

| Page | Panel | Real size | Artboard size (1:10) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Driver side curtain (cab end left) | 7,400 x 2,700 mm | 740 x 270 mm (2098 x 765 pt) |
| 2 | Passenger side curtain, mirrored composition, type reads normally | 7,400 x 2,700 mm | 740 x 270 mm (2098 x 765 pt) |
| 3 | Rear doors and tailgate (carries the QR) | 2,360 x 2,680 mm | 236 x 268 mm (669 x 760 pt) |
| 4 | Nose cone brand strip | 2,200 x 400 mm | 220 x 40 mm (624 x 113 pt) |

Passenger sides are re-set mirrored compositions, never flipped artwork. Two separate print files per truck side are required.

## QR codes

The QR is vector artwork in each file.

- **Concept D** decodes to the homepage: `https://www.aquapulsespas.com.au/?utm_source=truck&utm_medium=vehicle&utm_campaign=fsr_curtain`. Per the client's layout, D carries the QR on both side curtains (pages 1 and 2) as well as the rear (page 3). Curtain pleating can distort codes: run a scan test on the installed curtain at 3 to 5 m before accepting, and treat the rear-door QR as the primary scannable code.
- **Concepts A, B, C** decode to the range: `https://www.aquapulsespas.com.au/collections/spas-for-sale?utm_source=truck&utm_medium=vehicle&utm_campaign=fsr_curtain`. Rear doors only, never on the curtains.

Decode verified programmatically from the production artwork of every file. Print at 500 x 500 mm minimum with the white quiet zone intact, and test a printed proof at 3 m before the full run.

## Concept D: client-supplied copy

- **USP wording is the client's, verbatim** ("Premium Quality / Built To Last", "Energy Efficient / Designed To Save", "Aussie Owned / Support Local"), taken from their own mock. Do not re-write without client sign-off.
- **Tagline typo, assumption to confirm.** The brief text read "Recover. Recover. Live Better." but the client's mock reads "RELAX. RECOVER. LIVE BETTER." The D file renders **"Relax. Recover. Live Better."** on the assumption the brief contained a typo. Confirm the exact tagline with the client before any file goes to print.

## OUTSTANDING PRODUCTION ITEMS

1. **Client vector logo required.** The embedded logo is a 584 px raster placeholder, concept grade only. The client's vector logo (AI, EPS or SVG) must replace it before any print run. Do not scale the raster to print size.
2. **Hero photo.** Concept D's tail window and rear panel use the Manly Deluxe ocean hero at full source resolution (5504 x 3072). Final print art should swap to a frame from the professional shoot currently in edit; ticket-audit the chosen frame (clean of pricing and signage) before it goes in. Concept B uses the approved Reef Platinum running frame, same swap plan.
3. **$4,999 price device.** Correct at build time, verified against the live store. Concept D sets it as `$4999` (no comma) in the client's style. It must be reverified against the live store on the print date. Run `check-pricing.py` before handover to the printer.
4. **PMS matching.** Match navy #000e2e, brand blue #1B75BC and price red #E11D2A to PMS and CMYK at the press proof. The navy prints near black on PVC, so request a drawdown before the full run.
5. **Bleed and buckle keep-away** are already respected in the artboards: 50 mm bleed on all edges, bottom 350 mm of each curtain is background or bleeding imagery only; no text, logos or QR in that zone.

## Attards conformance (spec sheet V2, received 2026-07-24)
The curtain manufacturer is Attards (attards.biz, (03) 9791 9992). Their artwork
guidelines vs these files:

| Attards requirement | Status |
|---|---|
| Vector AI, EPS or PDF | Met. Files are vector PDF-compatible .ai |
| CMYK colour | Met by the *-CMYK-at10pc.ai files (Ghostscript DeviceCMYK conversion; RGB masters kept alongside for web use). Colour-critical: confirm navy, brand blue and red at press proof |
| Fonts outlined | Met. Zero live fonts in any file |
| 10 percent scale for truck curtains | Met. Artboards are exactly 1:10; noted in filenames |
| Raster DPI (300dpi at 10 percent is their good bar) | Met for the spa photo panel: about 466dpi at file scale |
| Linked images embedded | Met. All images embedded |
| Bleed | OPEN. Attards supply their own curtain template with visual area and bleed. Request the template for the Big Rigs 7.4m x 2.7m body and reflow final art onto it before print |

Deliver the *-CMYK-at10pc.ai files to Attards. Known limitation: concept B's file
predates the Manly hero image swap and its embedded photo is the earlier water frame at
reduced quality; concept D (client direction) is the lead file, built with the corrected
lossless pipeline. Rebuild B on request only.
